Fiji was re-colonized in the fall of 2004. Previous to then Fiji had a 47 year history at the University of Rhode Island. Before the fraternity became a part of Phi Gamma Delta in 1951, it was a local fraternity known as Beta Phi, which was started in 1910. Currently the colony has 37 brothers who dedicate themselves to Friendship, Knowledge, Service, Morality, and Excellence.
